VersaFlex polyurea systems and associated products serve many different uses within industrial, commercial and maintenance environments. VersaFlex has been dealing with various application concerns since 1994 and have overcome many different issues. One of their products is VersaFlex FSS 50DM, a superior metal coating material designed specifically for industrial applications receiving constant or intermittent attack from contained materials, most corrosive substrates and abrasive action. FSS 50DM may be used to coat any properly prepared substrate. FSS 50DM is flexible, accommodating to movement of the substrate, yet strong enough to remain intact under all conditions except major structural dislocations. With or without reinforcements, FSS 50DM may be used in transitional areas with confidence.
FSS 50DM may be used in interior or exterior applications. FSS 50DM is recommended for repair of other films, may be applied to metal and other substrates, in new construction and in cold weather conditions.
Another product is VersaFlex AroStruct, a superior coating material designed specifically for industrial applications receiving constant or intermittent attack from contained materials, subsurface hydrostatic pressure, most corrosive substances and abrasive action. AroStruct is flexible, accommodating to movement of the substrate, yet strong enough to remain intact under all conditions involving structural integrity. With or without reinforcements, AroStruct may be used in transitional areas with confidence. AroStruct may be used in interior or exterior applications.
Solvent-Based Elastomeric Coatings & Cements
Solvent-based elastomeric coating provide superior moisture resistance and offer much lower water vapor transition than water-based elastomeric coatings. This allows application in roof areas that retain ponding water. Highly impermeable coatings prevent penetration by moisture and oxygen, ingredients necessary for rust development and growth. This characteristic is of great advantage in metal roof coatings. Solvent-based coatings will not freeze and provide the applicator with a longer working season and less risk of wash-off or humidity related curing issues. Certain products may even be applied to wet and under water surfaces.
Water-Based Elastomeric Coatings & Cements
Elastomeric roof coatings and cements represent a new generation of protective coatings for the repair, restoration and protection of low slope and metal roofs. Water based elastomeric coatings and cements are based on elastic, rubber-like Acrylic and Polyurethane emulsion polymers. These materials also provide the ability to pigment coatings in a variety of colors including a cool reflective white. Reflective white cool roof coatings reflect heat away from buildings which may result in reduced cooling costs.
